We select three finalists to compete in our Driver of the Year competition every year. The winner of our competition goes on to compete in the NRMCA (National Ready Mix Concrete Association) Driver of the Year awards.

Dolese plants from across the state received top honors in two national safety programs: the National Ready Mixed Concrete Association’s (NMRCA) Think First Safety Contest and the National Concrete Masonry Association (NCMA) and Interlocking Concrete Pavement Institute (ICPI) Safety Awards program.

Oklahoma City-based Dolese Bros. Co. recently donated four trucks to rural fire departments, including Canute, Turley, Meeker and Rush Creek. The trucks will aid in the storage of water supply for the fire departments which will also help with the overall wellbeing of the surrounding communities. 

Every day our quarry employees face safety concerns with customer trucks, delivery drivers and visitors. Because our guiding principle of safety applies to everyone, we decided to take our annual safety reminder one step further this year.

The National Ready Mixed Concrete Association (NRMCA) recently recognized Dolese Bros. Co. with its Producer Excellence in Quality Award for the company’s commitment to quality initiatives within its Oklahoma City metro and Tulsa Ready Mixed Concrete divisions.

The National Stone, Sand & Gravel Association (NSSGA) recently recognized Dolese Bros. Co. plants for excellence in environmental stewardship and safety during its Legislative & Policy Forum held Sept. 27 -29, 2021.

The Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma's Food for Kids Programs are an important lifeline to the one in four Oklahoma children who are food insecure. Through Sept. 30, 2021, every donation to the Regional Food Bank's Food for Kids Programs is matched dollar-for-dollar.

With an expansive quarry operation encompassing one square mile, keeping inventory of their enormous aggregate stockpile requires a lot of work. The burdensome and time-consuming task is now a cinch, thanks to the use of drone technology.

A devastating fire earlier this year destroyed the Twin Lakes Volunteer Fire Department building and equipment, including multiple fire trucks. To help the department rebuild, Dolese Bros. Co. has donated a 2011 Peterbilt ready-mix concrete truck to replace one of the trucks lost in the fire.

Dolese Bros. Co. (Dolese), recently donated a concrete truck to Tulsa Tech’s Professional Truck Driver Training Program. The truck provides an opportunity for students to receive hands-on experience and gain additional skills.

The National Stone, Sand & Gravel Association (NSSGA) has awarded multiple Dolese Bros. Co. locations with Safety Excellence Awards, including Coleman Quarry, White Eagle Sand, Dover Sand and Ponca City’s 7 Mile Mine.

Dolese Bros. Co. recently donated a truck to the Wellston Volunteer Fire Department in Wellston, Oklahoma and the Pecan Creek Volunteer Fire Department in Lawton. The trucks will aid in the fight against structure, wildland and other fires as well as to aid first responders.
